Buying a new return pump.

I am needing a return pump for my 60 cube and came across the Siccie syncra silent series and have heard good things about them. just wondering if anybody has one and what your thoughts are on the pump. I am looking at the 2.0 model.

I am currently using a Sicce syncra for my skimmer. They are excellent pumps and extremely quiet and reliable. Sicce has a head loss chart on their website that you may want to look at to see if the 2.0 will work for you.

They are great pumps.If you buy it from there dealers you get a 5 yr warranty.if not,its 3yr.

Yeah i have a buddy that just got one and so far it is a nice pump. Don't even hear it running. The only bad i have heard is that over time the impeller shaft wears and gradually gets louder. But i would think that is the case with any pump.

All pumps are subject to wear......these things are usually running 24/7 for years. I have heard of eheim pumps running for 10+ years and I have a Tunze return that I ran for seven years and not one issue. Sicce pumps are on the same level as these. You should be fine.
