So a friend and member suggests to me today "hey! Have you thought of getting an extra single canister ro from lowes or home depot and using that attached to your existing unit as your reactor?" Sounds good. Anyone tried this?
 
Low's or HD ask a bit much for the RO containers. At bulk reef supply they are $12 bucks. They also have a 20" clear container for $35 that i'm thinking about using as a Kalk reactor.

LMK if you want one from them, I need more kalk powder and I'll buy the 20" RO 2000 series container.

That is my thread describing how I did it. The pics are gone, but the verbal part is there. It works well.

If you want ome of those external canisters, I think many of people on here have them. You might just post a WTB and find one on the cheap.
