So maybe a very basic question but I have not used a calcium reactor before

My reactor has three power outlets
1 for the feed pump
1 for the pump on the reactor itself
1 for the c02 tank solenoid

Which of these do I control via the APEX - all of them on if PH is out and off if PH is ok or just the c02 tank on the APEX and leave the other two running full time?

what is the correct way to plug this in

I left my circulation pump and feed pump running full time. The solenoid is the only thing that I controlled. Set it to come on at somewhere around 6.5 and off at 6.8 measured from the pH probe in the reactor and not the tank pH probe.

You only control the CO2 regulator. Your feed pump remains on all the times and you maintain a steady drip. You set a high and low PH value on your APEX as your on/off points. There's plenty of code samples on the web.

Here's a nice write ups...

Definitely the CO2 solenoid. My CA Rx is fed from a tee off the main return pump so I have the recirc pump on an outlet that turns it off whenever the main pump is off and turns back on 1 minute after the main pump restarts.
