Do you use rodi for refract. Calibration? Or should I buy calibration fluid?

Calibration fluid. Calibrate as close to the desired value as much as possible. As the range changes so does calibrations.

I believe you should not use rodi for calibration purpose. buy the calibration fluid for calibration

RO/DI will be 'close enough' if you're in a pinch.

The calibration fluid will get you spot on.

Specific gravity in the ocean isn't always the same I'd recommend the solution but if you need a reading NOW and you're really unsure if the device is even in the ball park, RO/DI will work in the meantime.
