Can Anyone ID This?

I caught this little guy in my HOB aquafuge. I netted it just in case it is a mantis. The tank is only a week old and the rock is a mix of marshall and tonga. It is about a centimeter in length and transparent orange in color. Any info would be great.

It's basically a tiny shrimp... you likely have tons of them in your tank. They are a good thing.
 
That is like the grand-daddy of amphipods... He is a big one.. Good sign if you got him and a few of his friends around.

BTW: Bryan, When have you ever seen a copepod THAT big... If yours get that large let me still some of your fuge sand! ;)

I have never seen a copepod that big. Im wrong , but im still learning.:doh:
 
I like to catch as many as I can and steam them, toss em on a bed of rice....Mmmmmmmm..... :p
