Well,
In one of my tanks I started having a problem with grape caulerpa taking over, so I started doing more water changes to cut down the nutrients.
That worked very nicely to take care of the pest algaes (bubble, HA, grape caulerpa) but now the very pretty stand of halimeda that has been very well behaved and a model citizen decided that it wanted to sporulate.
Anybody have any tips for keeping Halimeda happy while keeping the nuisance algae at bay?
I have some in another tank with a DSB that stays pretty healthy, so I am wondering if it is a phosphate / nitrate balance issue.
Any ideas?
