I cracked my drilled 10 gallon tank while setting up the plumbing. It runs about 6" starting at the bulkhead. I can't even feel the crack on either side. Is there any way I can use it still? Is there anything I can put on it to seal it?

I've got a 10 gallon drilled with 2 holes at the top on (back side) on opposite sides. Your's if you want it. Might go to Smyrna Sunday to join in the free frag fest!!!

That 10 gallon tank was given to me by my great, great grandfather who not only blew the glass and built the tank from scratch he also drilled that bulkhead hole over the course of two years with nothing but a toothpick and sandpaper.

On his deathbed he said "use this tank wisely because it is so special" and instructed me to pay it forward when someone needed it more than me.

Today is a sad day indeed.

Or not....I cracked one at a bulkhead just like you did. couldn't feel an edge and it was fine....for a bit.

Chunk it ASAP.

Chris? Be thankful that you only have a cracked 10g tank.

I'm living with a cracked 42 yr old...
