Been working on my canopy for the 180 gallon this week. Still have some more to go, but the two 660 icecaps are all wired in with end-caps and stand-offs. WWWHHHOOOOOAAAAA YYYYAAAAA:thumbs: I will be posting some pictures tonight of the progress...

Do to the fact that the economy is slow so is my build but heres a quick updateto let everyone now where Im at with the canopy. Not much left just the front cover and the trim. I will post a picture of the light Im using now and the new canopy.

The light I have now is a Tek 8 bulb T5 light that Im going to be selling when the canopy is done. Im installing the two icecap 660's and eight T5's in the canopy. Im getting fairly good growth now with the current setup but It should really kick butt when the new canopy is done.

I ended up changing the wire that connects my two front lights. I was thinking that over the long run the current wire would end up breaking from opening and closing the front of the canopy. So I spliced in some more flexable wire for the front four endcaps, hopefully this will do the trick for a long while. But just in case I left some extra for repares down the line.

Sorry heres the picture afterI cleaned up the wiring a little more.

The corners of the canopy will have pillars for each corner cover. I am starting that this weekend along with some trim. Im getting ready to order all my reflectors so hopefully in the next two weeks I will be done.
