Need recommendations for a good algae scraper. I've always used mag floats on my smaller tanks but it's not cutting it on the 120. Don't know if the magnets are too weak or what, but there are spots where the build up is so bad I can't get it off. Right now, I'm floating between the algae free and tunze care. Thoughts?

I tried the tunze care and was not impressed. I use the flipper max on my big tanks and the standard flipper on the small tanks

this algae is so thick, I even tried my scraper that's attached to a pole and I could barely touch it.

Yeah, I'm struggling with this idea of a$100 algae scraper, lol. I'm hoping if I can get this buildup off then it won't require too much to keep it that way

Stanley scraper works great too with heavy duty utility blades. Blades have oil to prevent corrosion, I just wipe off with alcohol first.

I like that plastic scraper. I usually just hold the blade, but I might have to look for one of those.
