Need recommendations for a good algae scraper. I've always used mag floats on my smaller tanks but it's not cutting it on the 120. Don't know if the magnets are too weak or what, but there are spots where the build up is so bad I can't get it off. Right now, I'm floating between the algae free and tunze care. Thoughts?

i have the same issue with Flipper, so i upgraded to Flipper plus which did the trick when they used a stronger magnet.

I tried the tunze care and was not impressed. I use the flipper max on my big tanks and the standard flipper on the small tanks
For the real tough stuff i use one of these with the metal blade
While not cheap, I've heard nothing but good things about the Algae Free products.

You need a blade not a scrub pad. Pick up a plastic razor blade handle and a 100 pack of razor blades. total cost under $10 and just use a new blade each time.

They also have ones you can glue to a mag cleaner, but they rust if left in the water.

Seachem - Algae Pads
Those work great - Sea-Chem handed some out at a meeting at Pure Reef a few years ago - I love them.
Stanley scraper works great too with heavy duty utility blades. Blades have oil to prevent corrosion, I just wipe off with alcohol first.
