I have 2 reef tanks ... one RedSea 65 gallon cube and a larger custom 170 gallon reef tank. I've been in the hobby about 20 yrs and it seems like I often struggle with tank parameters control (NItrate, phosphate, Alk, Mag, Calcium), can't grow hard corals like montipora and birds nest, etc. It seems very frustrating when I ask for advice and nobody seems to agree on treatments. I've tried man products and I'm currently using Hanna electronic test kits for testing, I change water every month, feed every other day, purchased expensive LED lights from AI, etc. I've hired at least 5 companies to visit my home over the years and recently tried 3 part expensive dosing from Aqua Forest. I also purchased some large corals from another ARC member who was moving (monipora and frogspawn) but after only about 2-3 months it's all dead now. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong and it's extremely frustrating and depressing to know I've spent so much time and money to still not have a nice looking reef tank. Most of my fish are doing well, however, so that's nice.

Just this week in my smaller tank I lost 2 RBTA and then corals started to looking horrible again. After water change it's looking better now.

Can someone recommend a company or individual who working in the Cumming, GA area near Lake Lanier who can help with my many reef tank issues?

Thanks,
Shane D.
