whats going on with it? I just read a thread that started over the summer and I read some bad things. I was planning on going out there tomorrow but is it worth it? its about an hour drive, I also had somebody buy like a gift card, or store credit(25$), as a chirstmas gift. From what Ive heard people lost money, is that down the drain?

then how did that person that gave me the "gift" get me that? Is there anything I can do?

it was probably store credit they had for a while and just regifted, or they had it before knew the store was closed and didnt have a gift so just gave you the card.

no i think they got it a couple weeks ago, maybe like 2. I got it from my Girlfriends parents, they arent in the hobby so I dont see how it would have been their credit.

Any other well known fish stores around with a good selection of corals?

It would have been quite impossible for them to have gotten it a few weeks ago. They have been closed since late August. Check out our sponsor maps. I can personally recommend Saltwater City, Keen Reef, and Creation Aquatics.

I would recommend those as well, and add Marine Fish as well.

I recommend Aquarium Center, Keen Reef, Marine Fish, Optimum, and Creation. Especially the first one :D

That's a possibility :yuk:

Didn't they have a website? Maybe they're still selling them throught the site? I hope not.

That's what I am thinking that they are still selling online but I checked their website, it has been closed. Another possibility is someone selling them on Ebay.

Just get your girl friend to ask her parents where they got it?

I figured it out.
I guess the old cap bay phone number goes to marine fish or something like that. I called the number that was supposed to be cap bay and it went to marine fish and I that was where the gift card was.
thanks for the help

I'm not bashing them, it's a great store-I just think they're a little pricey, but yeah-you're prob. right after you factor in the discount then it's not too bad of prices there-helpful people and nice displays aren't free to run, and I know this--they have some nicer high end stuff too-
