carbon and gfo

Yup, that's where I'm at now, one cup. I have a friend in my area that has helped me a lot with advise. He got really ill that I was going to use GFO instead of pellets and hasn't talked to me since.

I tend to think you should be able to get by with less gfo and change it every 3-4 weeks.

I run about 1 cup run of the mill gfo and change it every 25ish days. I have roughly 240gal total volume with a mixed reef and it works fine.
