Trying to figure out where the best place to buy carbon and Gfo..I know BRS sells both but I figure theres probably somewhere cheaper.. thanks in advance for any help...Anthony

I buy mine from BRS. When it comes to buying carbon, I make sure its a good quality carbon. GFO, not so much.

We sell bulk Carbon. Good Quality. Cylindrical shape for more surface area. From 1lb to 4lb containers.

Not all carbon is equal. It *all* contains phosphate but the higher quality (and usually higher priced) ones are lower in phosphate.

A lot of the cheap stuff is actually made for air filtration or even drinking water filtration where phosphate is not so much of a concern.

You get what you pay for.
