Hey guys,

I got back from work to find my bta had splitted. I saw it had moved from it's spot to a lower area and then i saw a much smaller one in the old location. I'm very excited about it, but I tried looking up information on wether I need to do anything and take care of it or not, but couldn't really find anything.

my clown is in there swimming against it like nothing happened, will it have trouble to heal? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mauricio

Shouldn't have to do anything special. A BTA that has split is a good thing.

Just watch it and make sure it does not get close to a power head.....if it gets in one, its bad news.

Yeah, I know it's good, that's why I'm excited, I just didn't know if it needed anything during healing.

I'll keep an eye on it, so far staying away from any danger.

Im excited for you. Feed that beast with some pellets or something. Or wheaties.......

I feed mine turducken. Lol.

Seriously, as long as it stays away from power heads, you won't have to do anything special. It'll find its own way. Just keep an eye on it in the mean time so it doesn't kill your coral while it finds its spot to live.
