Ive never had one before but im considering it for my new 120. Im looking for some advice and suggestions. Do they move around a good bit and what care level do they require. Thanks

I've only ever owned one ans he was size of a quarter but mine moved around a few times but settled right at the top mine would knock loose frags off so there is no gracefulness to them when they do lol as what I have learned anyway

Mine came from a fellow reefer on a rock and has not moved at all. It's 10in and healthy and host my Clarks. I target feed every few days and just treat it like an anemone.

All anemones can move. Most do not when they find (or are put in) a suitable place.

Thing about carpet nems is that they grow BIG. Like FEET big given enough time/food. Second thing about them is that they can and will eat your fish. So it's a risk/gamble. I've read many posts of people losing their prized multi-hundred dollar fish to a carpet nem. Just keep that in mind.

Yup...the stickiest of almost all nems. I was stuck to one for 45 minutes once. Didn't want to yank my hand because their tentacles are very easy to pull off and risk the health of the animal. They are great and once established, won't move...but do get BIG! My domino damsels use to host it...then my clown took over.
