Catching a Coral Banded Shrimp

Anyone have any ideas on how to catch a coral banded shrimp w/o having to tear out the live rock?

Open to any and all suggestions!

Fish trap.. I was able to catch my cleaner 40 times while trying to snag a fish..

would this be a home made fish trap or one that was purchased?
Does anyone have one I can borrow?

We have a few members that have traps.. Maybe they will chime in.. I think All Things Aquatic loans/rents them..

I caught mine by using a simple glass jar and a few pieces of shrimp. I just tied some fishing line around the jar baited the jar with the food and set it in the tank after the lights went out. The shrimp found the bait and went in to the jar, then i just used a fish net over the opening and lifted him out in the jar. Worked great.
