Chaeto lighting question

Hey everyone so I recently decided to make a small refugium for my 20 gallon tall reef to place some chaeto in, I’m wondering if my 165 watt led light will provide enough light to it since it is a larger light for a small 20 gallon tall tank? I have it about 9 inches above my tank so I’m thinking the light will spread enough to help it depending on how much light the chaeto needs to grow.

The light should be sufficient, but refugium give the max benefit when ran on an opposite light schedule than the tank.

Yes. Tank lit, fuge off; fuge lit, tank off. It helps to bring ph up at night.
