Chalice Frag

I got one of the fresh cut chalice frags at the swap. I was wondering if it woul b better off mounting it on a disc or leaving it as is? Are there any advantages or disadvantages either way?

It's less likely to get barried/lost on a frag disk.

I would either mount it to the rock that you would like to to grow over, or mount it to a plug. This will give it a base to encrust to as it grows. I guess it is all about preference.
