so i've seen some amazing chalice pics online. i'm not a big chalice guy. but just wondering HOW MUCH these pics are photoshopped up. I mean, i don't expect these chalices to look this good in real life. but are they close at least? will they look almost this good in person under actnics?

i'm talking about something like the Cornbred's Flaming Bugatti Chalice. looks amazing online.

I would think you could see a single eye of that chalice from about 100 yards out

there are a few vendors that do some serious Photoshopping. However its usually pretty easy to tell, just pay attention to things around the coral as well

yea, i understand that it's photoshopped. just wondering if they at least look close to the pics. i can live with it if they looked close.

Yeah, decently close. Don't expect the colors to be that vivid tho. Btw if you get flaming Bugatti I would be interested in an eye

Something to remember is that the picture is generally a very close up picture of the coral. Once it is in your tank and you stand back a couple of feet you do not see nearly the detail etc. that you see in the picture...

We need special lenses to look at our coral with that level of detail and clarity
