Great idea, but looks to be a freshwater item, not salt.

I do like the iPod-style control interface over the buttons on the Solaris. However, the Solaris has way more control over the lights and takes advantage of the near-continuous intensity variations available to LEDs.
 
Yep, pretty cool concept. If you can actually adjust the K rating it could have a place in marine aquaria. I am just wondering about the multicolor LED's that it is using and how much intensity they can actually put out for a reef environment.
 
Man I love little gadgets like that...He also mentioned saltwater in his discussion. No clue what kind of corals it would support but man is that a nifty little idea.
