Currently have a 25 gpd membrane in a ro unit. Is it possible to change the RO membrane to a 75 gpd?

Yes, but you must also change the flow restrictor to the corresponding size. So, new membrane, new flow restrictor.

It is well worth the switch with savings on waste water and time. I just switched from 75 to 150 Gpd and it was very easy

Really shouldn't be any savings in waste water. As long as the correct flow restrictor is installed, going to a higher capacity membrane will produce the same amount of purified water and the same amount of waste water, but it will do it quicker. The ratio of waste water to purified water should stay about the same - something near 4 to 1.

Also - the 150 gpd membranes are spec'ed at 65 psi - so they are not for everyone.
