Charcol Filter and Water Change

I'm new in the hobby and have a question regaurding my 45 gallon tank. I have a flu vol 305 on it, how often do I need to replace the charcol in it and how often do I do a water change. I have a clean up crew, several corals, 2 clown fish, and 2 madrian gobbies. Thanks for any help. Steve

how long has ur tank been up? i made the mistake of adding manderans to quick...with an un developed tank u need to add pods atleast! every other day or that will starve. and i change my carbon about once a month but clean the chambers and spounges every two weeks

Its been set up for about 3 or 4 monthstha mangian eats pods and brin shrimp Thank for your help
