is that more stable than it looks? looks like if you touch it, it's falling over. Why not spread your stones out to all 4 corners of the pallet? Looks good though, just don't want you to break your RO or pumps.

Yap. You might want to make it a little more stable... Otherwise awesome job.

LOL I'm not 12 I'm actually 13... I accidentally put in my wrong birth date.... I probaly need to get it changed but don't underestimate me . I know lots of things.

Ha it's actually a lot more stable than it looks! I will add some extra stabilizers if it will make you guys feel better! :shades:

I would feel better, awesome use of time..

Is the crate thingy screwed to the wall too? Or is it just sitting on the bricks?

Hmmm...I'd have to agree with everyone else on this one, Curt. I'd stabilize that a bit more, just for some peace of mind. Where does your waste line go around that corner?

Well if it's filled with water it probably VERY stable because of the water and were the canisters are placed. Once the canisters are filled most of their weight would actually be on the two stacks of bricks so its probably actually stable.

No, not at all. There was almost the equivalent of a Sharknado coming through my garage and it was fine. I worked on the mixing station for about 7 hours so I was ready to be done. I'll add more rocks tomorrow.

Ha Ha! Yeah I will definetly construct a better base tomorrow!

I actually gave it a few good straight kicks in your honor sensei! It held up fine.

Here is the current upgrade plans.

Build a better base.
BRS auto shut off kit and float switch.
Upgrade RODI output with BRS 150 GPD water saver upgrade kit.
Find a way to route the waste water lines through the wall.

Any other suggestions?

Can you briefly describe the set up? I have the same RODI and I was looking to set up a "station" like this. It looks like the can on the left fills... Then what? Is the can on the right for mixing? Is the green cylinder in the middle a pump? How did you choose the height?

Sorry for the questions but I really like the simplicity of this and I might try to recreate (with better supports ;)

Thanks!

Come get some 4x4s. I've got several in the back yard. Bring the measurement that you need them and I got the miter saw to cut them too. Put one on each corner of your pallet plus the stones and you will be in business. Or just get enough to remove the stones and get your money back because those are not cheap. Lol

Throw away the pallet. I own a manufacturing plant and buy lumber by the truckloads. I have sheets of pressure treated plywood, p.t. 2x6's , p.t. 2x4's. But I am not exactly around the corner either and I do not get to Atl much, I do send a truck to Covington once a week. Keep the water off that pallet, because the nails will rust first and then it will become unstable. They do not use galvanized nails in pallets, since they are meant to have a short life.
