Checking my ballast

How to I check a MH ballast? Trying to see where my breakdown is. Lamps don’t fire... could just be a bad one

Using a volt meter you could test the output voltage at the bulb socket. Be very careful to not create a short circuit with test leads, or check at the output of the ballast.
