Anyone every ordered from them? Their prices are a little on the rich side for me.

Find it for somewhere else cheaper. You really can't. It's the market. The same way you don't find new Ferraris out there for $10,000.

worth is in the eye of the beholder.

Definitely true in this hobby. If you can afford it and its what you want, then by all means. Spending $800 is silly if you can't afford it, however, if its within your budget then there is nothing silly about it. I personally can't spend that much, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it.

The car example is a great one. Lots of people will spend $80K on a range rover, as opposed to spending $45K on another SUV. Doesn't make it wrong because they spent that much, that is just their preference.

I got two acro colony's and out of all the other hype company's my acros were awesome

I wish that were true, but usually it's not. Of course the two aren't mutually exclusive, but it this hobby, it usually is. The bottom line is if you want an ultra colorful, ultra rare coral, you're surely gonna pay big bucks. It's the way it is.

I have bought from them a couple of times. Hit LPS and Favia category. I bought the Darth Maul Favia Orange and Red. PM me if you want my opinion on feedback.

Darren

Edit: A couple of PM's already. Cherry Corals has very nice stuff. Like most Etailers the pictures are taken with a high quality camera and are zoomed all the way in. So like most Etailers you see a lot of detail and awesome colors. The corals when they arrive look good but when you stand a couple of feet back you do not see the detail or vibrance of the colors as much. With that siad I would and will order from them again.

This, in perpetuity, is the issue with ordering livestock online, rather than in person at a LFS.

+1
I have ordered there several times all frags lived and were a little pricey but in my opinion worth it due to supply and demand.

I have bought from them. Yes their coral is nice but.... i wouldnt pay that much. Reefworks and other lfs can get you similar corals for 10% of the price. Yes u get what u pay for but not in this case.

+1 Arcoholic and Jimmy...my pocketbook is a litlle pouch with a few coins in it. i will stay local and support the little man.

I just sold two Bali Slimmers for 25 a piece.. they want 60 for the same size

you are a hobbiest, they are a business.surely you couldnt expect them to sell for what hobbiests sell to each other for.bottom line is if you dont like theyre prices, dont buy from them.theyre not doing anything wrong or dishonest, they are just trying to make a living in the dog eat dog coral business.
