Chiller Question

Does anybody know if a 1/5 HP chiller will be strong enough to handle a 120 G tank and 30 G sump. Setup has return pump, and skimmer pump, standard lighting 2 250W MH.

it will probably cool it but it is gona run aloooot...i got a 1/4 on my 100system and i don't have mh and also have vortech powerheads without the motors in the water...mine is over kill but it will always alow me to upgrade the tank and not the chiller

I don't think it will cut it. It may cool it, but it'll run forever, costing you a fortune in the long run. You want a larger unit so it runs for less time, sucking down less power.

Does anyone run a chiller on a nano system? My temps are fluctuating too much during these very hot days. If so, can anyone recommend a good chiller for a 29 Bio?

Adam, that chiller will be to small, it will cool your tank but it will run all the time and your electric bill will kill you
