Cleaning Batwing Reflectors

Ok....so I got the busted bulb out without shredding my hand. The US postal service brought me a surprise today, my replacement bulbs two days early! woo hoo

BUT....before I fire this bad boy up, I want to clean my reflectors. Any suggestions? (I've tried just plain tap water, but the result is me scrubbing and no visible difference)

Salt or pitting?

Try WARM water, maybe mix in a bit of vinegar.

It looks like splatter. I have a Sohal tang that loves to come to the top and flip his tail and wet anyone and anything nearby....thus the broken MH bulb from last week!
