Cleaning crew question

Hey y'all-It'll be 2 weeks this weekend since I started my tank-Is it too soon to add a few snails/crabs/shrimp?? My tanks cycling, with about .5 ppm of ammonia and 1.0 ppm nitrate as of yesterday. I thought I'd take a water sample over to Optimum Aquarium this weekend for analysis before I did anything-I've been reading that a 'cleaning crew' would be a good way to get ready for fish/coral I plan to add in 2-3 weeks, depending on water conditions. What should I get and how many of each? It's a 46-gallon tank...

I like to wait for the cycle to finish. then get about 40 red leg hermits and about 40 turbo snails that is what i had on my 55g.
