cleaning rock

im setting up a new tank and I purchased some live rock from another member but it was cover with hair algae. Whats the best way to clean this rock, I let it dry out for a few weeks. I have live rock that I put in the sump for cycling. I just want some of this rock in the display. I want to put it in the tank by this weekend if possible.

I would suggest a h2o2 treatment if its pretty bad. You can see how well it works if you search the Colorado tank build thread I made. Best way to get rid of ha if you aren't worried about killing the rock.
