I was cleaning my 60g today when I bent over to check the sump and that’s when the solan fairy wrasse decided to make a break for it.

He jumped out in to the floor in front of me. Flopped around for a little but I was able to gather him up and put back in the tank. Has me scared as he was laboring and laying flat on its side in top of frag rack. Then finally swam off to hide in the rocks. Few hours later send to be swimming around just fine.

I guess I can’t take my eyes off the tank or leave the lid off at all. Crazy wrasse!

Glad your wrasse is OK, I have had a few moments with my flasher wrasse also. Mine has finally found a home in the rock work, so it dives into the rock instead of going straight up.

Our pintail did that 3 times while we were feeding forcing us to change how we feed.
