Closed Loop Question!

I Can't find any threads that stae weather the Intake for a closed loop system should be In the Lower area of the Tank or Closer to The Upper Area. Can Anyone help.

Mine is in the lower section but I don't see where it would really matter. Maybe a little more pressure to help feed the pump if it is lower???

I just started to install the bulkheads in my frag tank. My closed loop systems intake is at the bottom and returns are at the top one on each side and they are on a SCWD..

Yup - what ares said - the pressure is the same if it's high or low on a close loop.

Mine is very low buts its a bare bottom

Mine are at the bottom of the back glass but I put 90 elbows pointing up and then a cone shaped screen. No issues after a year...(knocks on wood)
