This contest is completely free and open for supporting members! If you're not an ARC supporting member consider joining, it's well worth it. Every month, ARC has free prizes, frag-swaps, cool guest speakers, and give-aways... plus many members will give you free coral frags just for joining.
For this photo-contest, the subject is Mushroom Corals! Mushrooms are loved by beginners and experts alike, and come in a wonderful group of organisms that come in a variety of colors and textures. Please submit your photos of Discosoma, Rhodactis, Ricordea, Yuma, and more. They can be fancy bounce mushrooms, a rampant spread of common discosoma. All types of mushroom corals are welcome!
The prize will be a $100 Gift Certificate to an LFS Sponsor of your choice! Whichever pic the contest committee likes the most will win. Please vote on photos too; share some love for the people who participate. Additionally, we will have multiple consolation prizes (2nd place will receive two boxes of Marine Pure Gemstones, and 3rd place will receive a container of Fritz Max Out).
Update: This contest winners will be announced after the upcoming ARC meeting this Fall (I will be back in the country around Oct 2nd, and will check immediately). We arent in a rush as the frag bash is an unofficial meet. Based on what ive seen so far, its going to be a very hard decision.
