I just put in two new clown fish last night. I have let the take cycle it took about 2 months. I have a 90 gallon tank, the fish were staying together for about a hour after I put them in. Then they began to explore the tank swimming all over the place. Now I woke up this morning and checked on them and they are just hanging out in a corner. Is that normal.

I had the day light bulbs on for about 5 hours the I turned them off and the low glowing blue led on for night for about 8 hours. Then I turned the daylight bulbs on about 6hours ago

If there is an eddy from the flow in that corner that may be their preferred "place" to sleep and chill out. Once u feed they should come out and roam around unless they feel threatened by somebody. Green chromis are good "feelers" for everybody to figure that they won't die if they venture out. Give them time and they will adjust. FYI, not sure what you mean as in the "blue led light" but extended run times unless they are actual "moon lights" can lead to algae outbreaks.

Mine hang out in the top right corner I'm back next to my returns, have been since the day I got them

Ok thanks the fixture has four led lights in it I assume for viewing when the lights are off

Just saw your post on the type of light. The blues should be on an hour (dawn), then both wht/blu for whatever 8 or your pref and then just blues for an hour (dusk) and then your moonlights till morn

No worries. These are quirky little fish. Mine hosted the HOB filter for their entire 13 weeks in QT, and an empty corner in the DT until I added an RBTA...

My clowns drive me nuts. I've lost count of how many things they've done that made me worried that they were dying.

Same here, my clowns did this for nearly a month. Then one day they came out to play. Still sleep in the back, but they are visible during the day. Congrats on the new fish and welcome to the 90 gallon club.
