I've kept clown gobies in the past and have never seen anything like this... is the frogspawn going to eat our clown goby? We have other tanks we could move it to if you all think we should do that.

Then the goby started swimming way down near the coral's skeleton!

Then it swam back out to the top.

I took about 80 pics of the goby before it decided to head back to the other side of the tank to the candy cane that it's claimed. Should we consider moving the goby to a different tank? We really don't want the frogspawn to eat it!

Not sure if it will harm the Goby but that is VERY COOL. I would vote some of those pics in the pic of the month contest.

Actually, leave him be. There is a pic somewhere on this site, probably in "photography" of my yellow clown goby chillin' in the condylactis. He's perfectly fine. What's stranger is, I've caught him hanging out on the new fire coral frag and still, totally happy and unscathed.

Not sure about a goby but my false perc has hosted an 8 head frog spawn for the last year with no issues if that helps.

Do you not see the uncropped bubble algae crop? :lol2:

i would think if it dident irritate the goby it would be fine and that is supper cool

No worries, I have a picture somewhere of my old green clown goby hosting my GBTA. No joke. They use corals for protection because they are so small and insignificant. Mine also liked to rub a little too hard on some of my LE SPS's so he had to go!

Someone also mentioned clown goby's eating SPS. Now, I wonder how a docile little, lightweight fish could pull off any of this?

Hey, maybe its the light but, I can see through to my clown goby's guts are dark brown. He was perfectly yellow until he started eating... does he have to poop?

Me too! Great shots! I wouldn't worry about the goby - they love to hang out in all kinds of corals.
