Noticed it on one of my Black Ocellaris this morning...what do I do this evening?

If its only on the clownfish it is probably Brooklynella. Is it in quarantine? If not, you will need to get it out of your reef tank and into a Q tank for treatment. Many Ick treatments work on Brooklynella as well.

Can you get it into a separate tank for treatment?

I dunno, I didn't think that clowns were that susceptable to Ick. In any event, he can get medication that addresses both Brook and Ick.

just do a formallin dip i have some if you need some man and i can walk you threw the steps

Pretty much every fish we keep can get ick. My mandarin had it the first couple days he hit my tank and the myth is they can't get it either.

If he is in your main tank, it is probably too late. Ick isn't a big deal if you keep your fish healthy. Clowns tend to have great immune systems so he is probably just stressed out and suseptable right now.

Ok...Here's the update...ALL MY FISH DIED!!

Ok Ok thats a LIE... lol

The clown is doing much better...spots are gone. I tend to agree with Cameron and many others who say all fish have ick, it's just a matter of how they feel whether it "pops" out or not.

Thank you all for the support...I never had ick so naturally when your kids get it your concerned..

Thanks again!

You porbably know this already, but, ick has life cycles, and many people think its "gone", but it has just progressed to the next cycle, and may come back. It very well may be gone for good, but dont let your guard down.

If Ive learned nothing in this hobby is to be ready for the unexpected..

Just when you think it was safe to go back into the water......
