clown killing hammer

shortly after introducing my my clown into my tank he took a liking to my hammer coral, so much that now the hammer is looking pretty bad. its tentacles are retracted and when it opens its not as full as it use to be. even still retracted, the clown with rub up in it. the clown pays no attention to the frogspawn i put in. i guess just let it play out? i really dont have the option to move things around since it's a small tank, 5.5g.

I have 2 clowns that host my frogspawn and when they first started my coral did the same thing. Just let it take its course and it should be fine. Now my frogspawn has doubled in size and shows no sign of slowing down.
