Clown Problem... UGH!

Well in spite of that popeye clown thread, I think mine goes and gets it... right on the 1 year anninversary I have her too.. go figure. anyway, catching this clown is a pain I have a 2.5g quarantine set-up next to my bed

now, i am just gonna feed her focus and kanaplex and catch her once a day for a 10 minute freshwater dip... the saltwater in the QT is 1.020 iirc this ok?

Hopefully we can get through this together and she can go back to her Nem, which has finally showed it self. What are the supposed causes of popeye?

Ok, here are some pics.

These were taken only moments ago and this is the QT she is housed in.

Also, to catch her, i didn't use nets, only used my two hands for a gentle capture.... yes it was extremely difficult and very very tricky.

And getting pics of the bad eye were hard to since she is pissed at me and can't see out of the other as well.


Thoughts anyone?

yea i was hoping to get to petsmart for a 5 gallon but i couldnt after work... and i didn't want to get out the 20l and fill it up.. this was all i had. hopefully she wont be in there long. only took about a week the last time she or the other one, him, got it... we'll see

she mite have an infection but the tank is pretty stress free, tho, i may have caused her more stress trying to get her out.

I must say, it's funny how much we wil do to help out our fish.

I spent around $100 to keep my old true perc alive before.

haha, well, i dont think i could afford to go that far. i'm just gonna try what I did before that work the first time... and hope for the best.

I had to buy a tank and all the goodies to quarentine, and the meds, and blah blah blah...

haha, i dont think i have to go through all that.already had the focus and kanplex from last years episode, tank from my 10g nano(used the 2.5g as a fuge), and a power head that is a exotera water pump loland the light is a desk lamp CF lol this is a cheap set-up but hopefully works

yup yup, especially these two clowns. just did a 10 minute freshwater dip, thawing out some fresh food to be mixed up. for tomorrow then another 10 minute freshwater dip.

Ok so, I did two 10 minute freshwater baths and kept her in the QT over night... woke up and she wouldn't eat and wasn't very active, so I know she was stressed and I allowed her to go back in the main tank... still wouldn't eat but was more active... just got home from work. much more active (lights are off but she is in her anemone actively rubbing it). This makes me feel better... also, the eye swelling looks to have gone down.. may have caught this early enough I won't have to catch her again. will kno more in the morning when I try to feed her again.

Sounds like it is going well, but I would cut out the fresh water dips
