Clown Question

I was reading how Picasso's are basically variations of True Percula's.. Would that mean that a picasso and a percula could become a mated pair since they are the same species?? just different names in the aquarium trade based on coloration and desiredness. I'm not interested in breeding or anything, just wondering if I got 1 of each if they would pair up and share an anemone..

I assume the same would be true for snowflakes and false percula's??

Most clowns I have seen will pair up. I have a saddleback that pair with a false perc.breeding wise idk but I've seen many kinds of clowns pair up with the exception of maroons,clarkies,and tomatoes
