Just before the actinics went off, I noticed that my clowns had laid eggs. Apparently, they have been in there for a few days as they are already silver. I've had these two together for about 6 years, and this is the first clutch they have laid, that I know of. Sorry for the bad pics, but I am going to take some more tommorow when the halides come on.

Congrats! You'll have clown babies. BTW, what kind of anemone should I get for a pair of clowns?

Thanks, my clowns are false percs, and they host in a long tentacle anemone. Many people have good luck with Bubble Tip Anemones also.

Congrats, you likely have food for your fish! I would consider isolating the eggs if you want to see them mature.

clwons are great for making eggs, but raising them is no fun. It is a lot of work and effort and $$. But, to each their own. If you see little silver eyes, they'll probably hatch in the next day. They only incubate for like 7 days or so.
