I recently got a black clown and ocellaris clown pair and had seen them being around the Duncan mostly. A few days later I started to see that the clowns were going in the Duncan and they hosted it. Must be the closest thing to a anemone in my tank. I’ll try to get some pictures shortly

My clowns never would host after having had them for about a year. So I taped a picture of clowns in a nem to the glass in front of where they hang out. Within a week they were going around the tank trying out as many hosts as possible. Duncans, torches, rock flower nems, bubbles, gonis. They literally tried everything before settling in to a bta. From taping the picture to being hosted took about a week. They’re really interesting features with peculiar behaviors.

Wow! That’s intresting. Never knew you could do that

I tried that didn’t work for me. I’ve read it is hot and miss with clowns. I have a pair of storm that lay on zoas and try to host sea lettuce nudibranch when it is near them. Funny fish!
