Color mapping your coral placement

I love to see coordination of coral types and colors. It's hard when different things have different placement demands. Here's a CIPP of a little example.

Yeah, you are right coral that have complimentary colors really make each other pop, an interesting property of complimentary colors is that they appear artificially brighter when adjacent to each other.

I can across this article awhile back the section on Color Theory kinda applies:

Great pic Seth!
I don't have all SPS so with the multi colored LPS (zoas etc) I try to arrange them so that a solid colored corals surround the bright "busy" corals. This way they compliment each rather than get lost in the mix.
Did that make any sense?

Please let me know next time you have frags for sale, I finally got my new tank up.

There's a thread on RC dealing specifically with what colors would go well together with some pretty good info. Goes into scape design in general too. I'll see if I can find it.
