It's starting to come together. Thanks to everbody who has helped in the Noob forum so far, several have asked for pics post scape, so here it is. Water is a little cloudy because the glass is dirty and I keep moving rocks.
4x2x2 with a center overflow and return. Replumbed the overflow into a Bean Animal style and moved the return to an external over the back style. The drains are not as large as I would like it seems to be handling the turnover just fine. The lights are RadpidLED Coronas that I got for a good price and they seem pretty good, but they are a real pain to set up. They're hung with 80/20 aluminum because I didn't want to drill into the ceiling and they're really heavy, so a goose neck style mount didn't feel right. It
