Condy Anemone

I was given a Condy Anemone today and I'm thinking it's not a good Anemone. Can someone tell me what this Anemone is and if it's something I want?

they are not a hosting anemone but clowns will probably try to at some pointe but it will probably eat them at one point ...i guess they are hit or miss...me i would trash it or give it to someone elsen

it's pretty much an undesired anemone--I had tried a couple when I first started out in the hobby, and they eventually died--don't know if someone here has been successful in keeping them-but I'm sure someone has---but if it were mine-I'd do the same favor your friend did you-give it away-or take it to LFS for a credit

It's an Atlantic anemone.

I've had sucess keeping them, although they like to move A LOT! Mine have also hosted clowns without issue. This was in my 29g in college.

Don't trash it though, that's just stupid advice; it is a living creature.

Hell I'll take it! I don't have any clowns and I doubt it will catch my fish

And I had a Maroon host one before, they can host but its unlikely
