Converting Metric PVC to Standard

I have an Octopus skimmer and the output pipe has pipe that has an OD of appx 40mm, and ID of appx 32mm. How can I convert this to something I can buy at Home Depot? I tried the electrical PVC and nothing fits.

Man, that site would have been useful a ways back as i had to create my own with a dremel tool....

Dave, You are the man. I have been meaning to do this, and looking for metric pipe forever. Thank you!!!!!!

The adapters are expensive. I did what gmpolan did, and I took a dremel with sanding drum to the inside of a 1.5" female coupler and widened it to accept the 50 mm pipe. (double check pipe sizes)

Buying the adapters is the easy, but not inexpensive, way.
