maybe you could get some cheap flood lights and use this.
 
I just wonder what kind of par you get???? It looks bright, but I just can't see how 65w is going to give you the par of a 400W MH...
 
it will reduce par since the light has to go through another layer. kinda dumb really

maybe someone is cheap and gets a mercuary vapor lamp but wants better color.
 
I think everyone here is missing the point... The filters are not for Halide bulbs... they are for the lights that the guy sells on the sight... The lights on the sight are not Halides... They are 6500K 65W screw in fluorescent bulbs with a reflector (kind of like the bulbs that you would replace a standard light bulb with at home). The MH's would melt filters.
