I used to have an abundance of copepods and amphipods in my system before I relocated it, I can't seem to remember the last time I've seen any pods in my tank. I have also been struggling with coral health for a while and things used to be thriving before the move. I think I need to add some micro fauna in the form of pods, my local contact is out of business so I'm looking for a new connection. Where can I buy a large quantity of pods? I'm not looking for a $10 water bottle....
I'm also looking for a local source of live phyto.

I'm really hoping for a local supplier, but I could probably get a wider variety online.
It would be weird to have no pods at all. Have you tried phyto dosing? I know for me, in the past, it made a huge impact in pod population. I just started doing it again, this time tho, I am trying phyto feast vs live phyto.

Hey Bobby. There are virtually no local suppliers doing what you're looking for. Rit has had pods over the last year, but I don't know if he's still doing it or not.

I've been very happy Dinkins.

Hey Bobby i bought mine a few months ago from Dinkin aquatics Garden. Great company and pods are thriving in my tank. Highly recommend them

I have copepods. I culture them for my mandarin. I don't have a huge supply, but if ypu need some like every once and a while I can do that for you!

I tend to use Reefcleaners mixed pods when I've done take moves or start tanks. Price is ironically $10. Since we have a sponser in Dinkins, maybe give them a shot. Prices seem okay.

To bad I just saw this post, I ordered up a bunch of stuff from reefcleaners Friday.

Rit does not currently

Do you have a refugium? Is your tank too clean? Having a fuge and enough nutrients to grow at least a little bit of algae can go a long way to boost pods. I've also seen increases in pods by turning my skimmer off.
