Copepods

So this is the first time I will be adding live copepods to my reef tank and was questioning whether to have my filter sock on at the same time. I am going to add them to the refugium but I am sure some will make it to the display tank. Thanks

Add them after the lights go off to prevent immediate predation. Take the sock off for a while and turn the skimmer off for at least a few hours. I'd turn off any gfo and gac reactors as well for a time so they don't get sucked up in there and remain till you throw them in the trash with the spent media.
