Copper Band or Filefish

Has anyone had any good results from having one of these in their tanks for Aiptasia control? I tried Aiptasia X and I just see more and more Everytime I look in my tank. And they are in spots that I really can't get to.

Picked up a Copperband Butterfly a couple weeks ago from Pure Reef. He’s a very finicky eater to say the least. However, after adding him to the display, I decided to move 2 zoa frags over that had Aiptasia... the Aiptasia were gone within 2 days (there were 2 on each frag).

Filefish worked great until it decided to taste my lps. So traded it out for a new baby filefish

I think you’ll find either to be hit or miss. I feel like file fish are easier to take care of and cbb can be a bit of a challenge.

I have cbb in all my tanks for this reason. You gotta buy one that is eating healthy in the store. The only danger with them is that they may grow up to pick on some corals.
