A link to a paper on findings of interest about coral health & disease, including the major roles that viruses play in regulating bacteria.

It’s all part of the chemical & genetic warfare occurring in the mucus slime layer at the surfaces of our corals.

We are likely on the cusp of major advances in understanding why corals get diseases and especially how to cure or prevent them altogether.

Really important. It really didn’t seemed to attract much attention, but this is a thread that either could save you good amount of money (coral farmers, regular frag sellers etc) by pinpoint the causes from your coral decay and from the personal knowledge perspective on how to preserve them on the wild.
Thanks for sharing B. !!!
