Coral dipping

I feel like it’s finally time to start adding softies or some hardy LPS to my tank. Before I do though, can I have your opinion on coral dips. I’ve watched a couple videos and read some articles, but I’d like some thoughts from the club. Are there differences in brands? quality? etc. I’d prefer something I can pick up local vs order online just in case someone posts something I HAVE to have this weekend.

For most things I use Bayer BioAdvanced Complete Insect Killer, available at Lowe's.

Interesting. Do you just put a few drops in? Because it’s not really for “coral”, I’m concerned about using too much.

FYI I use Bayer as well but I think its called BioAdvanced now.
Don't quote me but I think its 10mL per 4oz of water

I just use Two Little Fishes Revive or CoralRX. I do occasionally use Bayer but I've found Revive combined with close inspection get me where I'm comfortable. I think my problem with Bayer is that I don't use it very much and I'm not too comfortable with it. It probably is the 'best' but I've only used it a handful of time and every time I do, I get nervous because it is such a noxious poison. With the Revive I can give the frags a decent rinse and carry on without concern. I've never seen any issue with the thousands of frags I've dipped in the stuff.
